An agreement was signed between His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the then Victorian Labor government of Australia, for the establishment of Victoria International School of Sharjah in November 2005.
