Victoria International Schools In Sharjah Welcomes More Than 4,200 Students Across Six Campuses

Victoria International Schools in Sharjah has welcomed more than 4,200 students across its six campuses as the new 2026–2027 academic year begins, representing a 5 percent increase on the previous academic year. The growth reflects the continued expansion of the educational network and reinforces the school’s established position as a leading provider of Australian education in the United Arab Emirates.

Victoria International Schools’ presence across the Emirate of Sharjah extends through its campuses in Al Taawun, the Central Region, Khorfakkan, Kalba, Tilal and its newly opened campus in Al Dhaid. Together, these campuses provide students with an international education rooted in the Australian curriculum, within a learning environment that places a strong emphasis on academic excellence, critical thinking, personal development, independent learning and preparedness for the demands of the future.

Dean Pyrah, Chief Executive Officer of Victoria International Schools in Sharjah, said: “Throughout our journey in Sharjah, our focus has been on building an educational environment that places the quality of learning and student development at the heart of its priorities. We continue to invest in our people, curricula and learning environments, with a strong emphasis on developing students’ critical thinking, independence and confidence — qualities that are essential in helping them navigate a rapidly changing world.

added :“As Victoria International Schools in Sharjah continues to expand, the new academic year will see the opening of the Victoria campus in Al Dhaid, alongside the opening of the secondary school building at the Kalba campus. We are committed to ensuring that Victoria International Schools maintains the educational standards upon which it was founded, while remaining a community in which students can learn, discover their potential and develop their aspirations within a school culture built on belonging, diversity and respect.”

Victoria International Schools employs 363 teaching staff and 288 administrative employees, reflecting the scale of the teams supporting the educational process across its various campuses. Together, they provide students with a well-rounded learning environment that combines educational excellence with care and personal development.

Victoria International Schools follows the Australian curriculum from Kindergarten through to Year 10. For Years 11 and 12, the school offers two academic pathways: the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and the Advanced American Diploma. This provides students with a range of educational pathways designed to prepare them for higher education and successful professional careers.

Victoria International School is one of the projects of Sharjah Asset Management, the investment arm of the Government of Sharjah.
